The 18-year-old fought back tears as she recounted memories of her late mum.
The service of songs for the late Nollywood actress, Moji Olaiya held today, June 6, at the LTV 8 Blue Roof in Ikeja, Lagos.
The likes of veteran actor, Oga Bello, who reportedly came all the way from Ilorin, Ogogo, Yemi Solade, Saidi Balogun, Fathia Balogun, Salawa Abeni, and Pasuma along with almost all of Moji Olaiya’s colleagues from the Yoruba movie industry.
One of the highlights of the evening was when the late actress’ teenage daughter, Adunoluwa, relived her mother’s memories.
‘She never complained or cried when
things were tough for her,’ Adun said. ‘She never complained. She was very gentle. In short, she was the most hardworking person I know.
‘I just hope she is in a much better place,’ Adun added.
While struggling to hold back tears, she also said, ‘This world… I just thank God, Thank you very much,’ as she walked back to her seat.
Moji Olaiya died in Canada on May 18, 2017 aged 42.
