    Ogun Government Set To Name Stadium, Street After Anthony Joshua




    World heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua is set to be honoured by his state of origin, Ogun state

    27-year-old Joshua defeated Ukrainian giant, Wladimir Klitschko in an epic 11 round battle at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, April 29.

    Joshua who was born to a Nigerian mother and a British father of Nigerian and Irish descent will be honored for his great win in Ogun State, Nigeria where his parents were born.


    Majority Leader of the Ogun State House of Assembly Yinka Mafe says he will move a motion to have the Sagamu Stadium renamed Anthony Joshua Stadium, and the popular Cinema Street in Sagamu renamed Anthony Joshua Street, according to ESPN.
