    Lagos State turns 200 more tenants to landlords – Dream Abode TV Reports



    Friday, 31 of March 2017, the Lagos state commissioner for housing, Hon. Gbolahun Lawal continues to walk the talk of turning Lagos tenants to landlord as he handed over 200 keys to the 2nd batch of the allottees of the Governor Akinwunmi Ambode inspired Rent-To -Own scheme at Alausa, Ikeja.

    The 2nd allocation ceremony of the innovative housing scheme saw a 100-unit increase in the houses allocated, as against the initial 100 units allocated at the maiden ceremony in February, 2017.


    The 200 allocated houses are located within the Lagos State Estates at Epe, Agbowa, Igbogbo & Ojokoro area.

    To felicitate with the 200 home owners, the allocation ceremony also gathered the following distinguished public and private personalities: The convener, Commissioner for Housing; Hon. Gbolahan Lawal, Commissioner for Information & Strategy;  Hon. Steve Ayorinde, The President of Maxima Media Group; Oluwafemi Ogundoro, S.A Communities and communication; Kehinde Bamigbetan, GM Lagos Mortgage Board; Dehinde Tunwase,

    Commissioner for LG; Hon. Musiliu Folami, P.S Lagos Mortgage Board; Architect Folusho Dipe, G.M Lagos Mortgage Board Operation ; Mrs Mobola Fashola and Deputy GM Lagos Mortgage Board; Mr Bayowa Foresythe

    In an interview with Dream Abode TV, the official media partner of the Rent-To-Scheme, the Lagos state commissioner for housing, Hon. Gbolahan Lawal revealed that the decision to increase the houses allocated by 100 units was taken in response to the pressure of demand after the first allocation ceremony.

    The Commissioner further confirmed that the Lagos state housing estates in Sangotedo, Ajara, Igbogbo and Igando will be ready before the end of the last quarter.
