Suspended lawmaker, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has reacted to the Speaker of the House of Reps, Yakubu Dogara, publishing his October
2016 to March 2017 payslip online.
Reacting via his twitter handle, Jibrin who was suspended in September last year for accusing Dogara and other principal officers of the house of padding the 2016 budget, said if what Dogara posted as his payslip is indeed authentic, then it means he who is just a member of the house, earns more than Dogara.
The payslip published by Dogara shows that his Basic salary is N206, 425.83, Constituency allowance is N175,461.96, recess allowance is 20,642.58. and pay as you earn is 55,952.50. His monthly net pay according to the slip is N346,577.
