    Lamido And His Sons Finally Granted Bail





    Sule Lamido the Governor of Jigawa State, and his two sons have been granted bail today by a federal court in Abuja and are to be released from prison once the bail conditions are met.
    They are facing money laundering charges brought against them by EFCC were arraigned last week in Kano State and later remanded pending their bail application hearing on September 28.


    However, they were transferred secretly to Kuje prison in Abuja yesterday ahead of a hearing today, after another judge was assigned to consider the bail application. Lamido was granted bail on self recognition and required to release his international passport to the court
    Lamido's two sons, Aminu and Mustapha, and their alleged accomplice, Wada Abubakar, were ordered to pay the sum of N25 million each. They were further asked to provide two sureties, one of who must be a civil servant not bellow grade level 16 and must have landed property valued at N75 Million
